Youth Team League Weekend Update

It's as you were for the top five in the division following the weekend's fixtures as leaders Burnley won 1-0 at Shrewsbury, while second placed Preston also picked up three points on the road, with a 2-1 victory at Wrexham. Still unbeaten Walsall meanwhile remaining in third place after thrashing Morecambe 6-1 at home, with Carlisle, who play Bury this afternoon away from home in a 2pm kick-off, and Tranmere staying in fourth and fifth spots respectively despite being out of action on Saturday.

Into the mid-table reaches meanwhile and the two Athletics picked up a point apiece as Wigan drew 2-2 at home to Oldham, while Port Vale versus Blackpool also finished with the same scoreline. The other two games played in the division at the weekend seeing Stockport win 2-1 at home to Bury, while Accrington picked up a rare victory on the road, Stanley defeating Macclesfield 1-0.
