Youth Team League Weekend Update

Last updated : 13 February 2012 By Thetashkentterror

Another weekend where the weather is the winner, except in the west of Great Britain where a good few first team games survived, and in North Wales Wrexham managed to get their youth match played, the Red Dragons drawing 1-1 at home to Oldham. The Latics now having got through 17 games and being five matches ahead of both Shrewsbury and Walsall as the fixtures begin to pile up for some.

Next week meanwhile, with hopefully better weather on the horizon, a couple of games in hand can be played and all four semi-finals of the League Cup can take place over the weekend. As for Carlisle, well they'll be hoping to play their first game in four weeks as they make the relatively short trip down the motorway to play seventh-placed Bury in an 11am kick-off on Saturday morning.
