Walsall Youth 5-3 United Youth

Another tough away game and another defeat on the road for Carlisle with George Bowerman putting the Saddlers 1-0 up before Tom Overfield then made it 2-0 to the home side. United then managed to pull a goal back put it was soon Walsall two goals ahead again when Jordan McCourt netted, the Saddlers then racing into a 4-1 lead through Bowerman before the Blues scored again to leave matters at 4-2 to Walsall at half-time.

McCourt then scoring his second goal of the game early after the interval before Carlisle, on 80 minutes, did manage to pull another consolation goal back. United's next chance to snap a run of four consecutive away defeats coming on Good Friday morning when they face a short trip down the M6 to Morecambe.
