Carlisle owner Fred Story spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Saturday evening as he gave his thoughts on the 1-1 draw away to Mansfield Town at Field Mill. The point means the Blues are in League One after achieving a second successive promotion just two years after being relegated to the Conference :

" I don't know what to say, it just didn't look as though we were going to win the game. I thought we'd get a result right at the end but I don't know how I feel. I just feel fantastic. I was just saying to Dennis Booth's wife that the great thing about it is that it is everybody's victory. It's Paul Simpson's most of all, it's the team's, it's the directors, it's the fans, it's just fantastic for Cumbria and I'm absolutely thrilled.

" The fans deserve it most of all with what they have had to put up with. It's great though that all together between us we are sorting it out, two promotions in two years is just fantastic, especially when it didn't look as though it was going to be happen today.

" I'm a Cumbrian, this is for Cumbria and for all of us. What it means is, as I said before, it's everybody's, and that's the great thing about it. Paul Simpson is the main part of it, let's not take that away from Paul, it's Paul that has made this happen, but after Paul it's everybody's and that's just fantastic. That's the best feeling about it.

" Everybody has always said that Carlisle deserve to be further up then they are and I've always said that that is rubbish. We deserve to be where we work to be, this club is working hard now and we'll get what we earn. This club will go as far as it deserves to go and that is up to everybody, it's up to all of us. The fruits so far are just coming much quicker than I ever expected.

" It's a great weekend to look forward to, Torquay are obviously going to be a hard game next weekend but we're promoted and that is the important thing. We can all enjoy it and let's have a party next Saturday. "
