Bury forward joins United on loan

Carlisle United have today signed Bury forward Hallam Hope on a one-month loan deal which keeps him at Brunton Park until 21 November 2015.

Hope, 21, joined Everton from Manchester City as a youngster and had loan spells with Northampton, Sheffield Wednesday and Bury (twice) whilst still with the Toffees.

His move to Bury became permanent when he signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Shakers in January 2015.

He has represented England at the U16, U17, U18 and U19 levels.

Manager Keith Curle said: "This is one we've been looking at for a while.

"Hallam is a different kind of player who will bring something else to the squad. He has the kind of personal and technical attributes we want in a player and this is a chance for him to show us what he can do.

"We're looking forward to working with him over the next month."

Hope will wear squad number 24 and has not been granted FA Cup clearance.
