No stopping Grazioli: 24 goals this season
Barnet kept themselves firmly on course for the Conference title after a comfortable win at bottom club Leigh RMI.

In front of 402 fans at Hilton Park, the Bees went buzzing to a 3-0 success and a maintenance of their 14-point runaway lead at the top of the table. Top scorer Giuliani Grazioli scored twice and Liam Hatch was also on target to lift Barnet to 69 points. Ryan Clarke was ordered off in the last minute to compound doomed Leigh's misery. It was the Railway Mechanics first defeat in three games, following two surprise away wins at Tamworth and Farnborough.

Aldershot Town moved into second spot when they saw off the challenge of neighbours Farnborough Town in the Hampshire derby at the Recreation Ground, watched by a healthy 4,181. Brett Johnson headed the Shots in front after just 68 seconds but Chukki Eribenne had the chance to level matters from the penalty spot for the relegation-threatened visitors but his kick hit the post. Nick Crittenden made it 2-0 on 54 minutes but Boro finally got on the scoresheet when Tony Taggart drove home 10 minutes later. Aldershot made it safe on 69 minutes when Jake Robinson completed the scoring.

Three teams are jostling for position on 53 points just two behind Aldershot. Halifax now head the pack after they won a key contest at Crawley by 2-1. The result knocked the home team out of the play-off zone. Martin Foster out the Shaymen ahead on 15 minutes but Crawley edged back into it six minutes into the second half with a goal from ex-Charlton and Wales international John Robinson. A Craig Midgeley penalty on 81 minutes, awarded after Phil Smith brought down Neil Ross, allowed the visitors to claim the points.

Woking are still going well and in fourth spot after an impressive 3-1 win at improving Northwich Victoria. Vics have moved out of the relegation zone but were unable to put daylight between themselves and the drop-zone as the Cards maintained their fine form of the post-Christmas period. Chris Sharpling, Karl Murray and Raphael Nade got Woking's goals, with Mike Carr heading the home side's only goal.

Stevenage saw off collapsing Carlisle for the second time in 11 days when they rallied to score two late goals at Broadhall Way. The Cumbrians moved in front on 20 minutes when Irishman Peter Murphy curled in a free-kick, but the home team took charge of the closing stages after the introduction of substitute George Boyd. Boyd grabbed the 84th minute equaliser before setting up an injury time decider for Jon Brady.

Accrington were held by Forest Green to miss out on a chance to consolidate their play off place and slid to sixth as a result. Cavanagh put Stanley in front but Rovers turned the tables on them with two quick replies from Charlie Griffin, his 15th goal of the season, and Paul Beesley. But Jon Mullin got Accrington back on terms with four minutes remaining.

Hereford also failed to make any ground on those above them when they drew at home to Morecambe at Edgar Street. Darren Kempson needed only 2 minutes to shoot the Shrimps in front by Tamika Mkandawire replied for the Bulls close to half-time.

Exeter revived their faltering promotion hopes by coming from behind to win at York City. The home team's recent good run looked like continuing when they scored first through Jon Maloney on 38 minutes but Jake Edwards and Lee Phillips pulled the game around for the Grecians who moved up into 9th as a result.

Scarborough look to be almost down and out of the play off picture after they crashed to a 4-0 defeat at Gravesend and Northfleet. Jean Michel Sigere, Jay Saunders, Jamie Pinnock and Jimmy Jackson notched the goals for the home side, who are hitting form again after a long period of decline.
