History of the Milton Keynes Dons v Carlisle United fixture

The Blues travel to Buckinghamshire tomorrow in a match that is live on SKY Sports in a 12.15pm kick-off, that no doubt being the way the majority of Cumbrians will watch the game for varying reasons.

Carlisle have never played the MK Dons in their present form but they have contested eight matches against the "club" under their old guise as Wimbledon over the years. All those games coming in a seven year period in the late 1970s/early 1980s.

Recent respective form guides

MK Dons have had an average home run of late, winning and losing three each of their last six games at stadium:mk. The goals for column just outweighs the goals against over this period at seven to five.

Carlisle have an average at best recent record on the road, seeing them win just one and draw two of their last six matches away from Brunton Park. While the Cumbrians have only scored five goals, a bumper ten have hit the back of the wrong net.

Milton Keynes are currently in eighth in League One having picked up 15 points from their nine games played so far. Meanwhile Carlisle's 13 points from their nine games sees them sitting in 11th place in the table.
