Collin fumble hands Boro a point

Stevenage winger Robin Shroot made Carlisle goalkeeper Adam Collin pay for a late mistake as the hosts fought back to earn a 1-1 draw at Broadhall Way.

Carlisle looked to be home and dry after Matty Robson found the net in the 73rd minute - a week after his Capital One Cup winner over Accrington.

However Stevenage didn't give up and, when Collin spilled Lucas Akins' shot from outside the box with two minutes left, Shroot pounced to ensure the spoils were shared.

Stevenage could have been behind as early as the 14th minute when James Dunne gave away the ball away deep into his own half - however Liam Noble fired wide.

Marcus Haber crashed an effort into the side-netting for Boro in reply before Carlisle broke the deadlock against the run of play 17 minutes from time.

Substitute Danny Cadamarteri fed Robson and he drilled low and hard into the far corner, but the lead was not to last.

Carlisle's very own substitute Shroot, on for Filipe Morais two minutes after the opener, pounced on Collins' fumble from Akins to salvage a point for Boro.
