24th August - 17-year old former Birmingham City and Romulus centre-half Ben Richards-Everton, 6'3, having been on a trial contract for the last month, signs a two year YTS contract to start immediately.
9th October - 17-year old Ghana-born former Arsenal, Norwich City, Dunstable Town and Aylesbury United attacking midfielder/striker Manny Richardson joins up with the squad on a one-month non-contract basis. Richardson has also had trial spells with Southend United and Ipswich Town earlier this year.
16th October - Manny Richardson signs a short term contract that will run until the end of the current season.
11th December - 6'4 Sunderland-born centre-forward Mark Beck, currently playing for the Durham County side, signs a two year YTS contract to start in July 2010.
21st December - North-East based centre-half Lance McGlen, who has played numerous times for Walbottle Campus School in Newcastle at English Schools' Football Association level, signs a two year YTS contract to start in July 2010.
21st December - First year centre forward James Reid has the rest of his United contract cancelled by mutual consent.
14th January - First year centre half Ben Richards-Everton has the rest of his United contract cancelled by mutual consent.
23rd January - Four local based players from the Centre of Excellence, in central midfielder Josh Todd (from Cumbria, now living in Dumfries and Galloway), centre forward Dan Jones (from Cockermouth), right back or central midfielder David Symington (from Workington) and left or right-winger Adam Gill (from Long Sowerby), all sign two year YTS contracts to start in July 2010. Todd and Jones have already been in and around the youth team squad this season.
31st March - Second year YTS players Ryan Bowman and Mark Gillespie both sign one year professional contracts to June 2011.
31st March - Second year YTS players Jamie Cleary, Liam Davison, Sean Law and James Wood all released early before the end of the their contracts.
10th April - Hexham-born centre half or right-back Brad Potts signs a two year YTS contract to start in July 2010.
3rd May - Burly Liverpool-born goalkeeper Joe Clements a two year YTS contract to start in July 2010.
