Carlisle meanwhile disappointingly allowed Rochdale to bounce back from their midweek defeat against Wrexham as the visitors left Cumbria with a 3-1 win, James Reid scoring for the young Blues. Next weekend United are again at home, this time in an 11.30am kick-off against Oldham Athletic at Creighton Rugby Club.
