Youth Team League Weekend Update

At the top of the table Burnley kept up their 100% start to the season with a 5-1 home win over Morecambe, while Wrexham, another of the four sides to have played three games to date are in second after picking up a draw and a win this week.

Oldham, Walsall and Wigan were all victorious to make it two wins from two for all three teams so far. Elsewhere the goals were flying in as Bury, Oldham and Rochdale all had big wins, with Stockport having to settle for a one-goal margin of victory at Chester.

United had the weekend off league action, but they filled that blank date with a 12-0 friendly victory over Gillford Park under-18s. The young Blues looking to get their first three league points of the season this coming Saturday when they face a trip to a Preston side who, like Carlisle, have started off with a draw and a defeat.
