The big prize
The Blues' youngsters go into the game against Huddersfield having already claimed home victories over Macclesfield, Doncaster and Chipstead.

The Terriers reached the third round of the competition and an away tie with Leicester City virtue of a home win over Burscough and a victory at Darlington.

Their game against Leicester started badly for them though when the Foxes went 1-0 up with a 13th minute Max Gradel goal. Huddersfield hung in there however against superior opposition and equalised in the 34th minute through a deflected shot.

Neither side could score again though and the tie eventually went to penalties with the Terriers winning through 5-4 on spot-kicks after Leicester had substituted their goalkeeper specifically for the shootout.

Huddersfield are above Carlisle's level as far as League structure is concerned, playing in Group D of the Premiership Academy League. The West Yorkshire outfit are bottom of the table however having only won one of their twelve games so United's youngsters will be confident of causing an upset and reaching the last sixteen of the prestigious competition.
