United bowled over by Hatters

United's youngsters exited the Youth Alliance League Cup at the first hurdle this morning following a 2-0 defeat away to Stockport County.

A goal in either half from midfielder Tommy Rowe on 26 minutes and centre-forward Chris Coward on 51 minutes condemned the young Cumbrians to defeat and leaves them with only the league and the FA Youth Cup, which they will enter at the first round proper stage at the beginning of November, to concentrate on this season.
