Burnley meanwhile have the best game in round four as they take on Manchester United, the Clarets having won 4-1 at Scunthorpe while the Red Devils were victorious 2-0 at home to Birmingham.
Stockport finally beat Carlton Town 2-0 in round two last night after their game had postponed twice at Edgeley Park and then called off once after it had been switched to Nottinghamshire. They now have the problem of another home game to stage on their cabbage patch pitch, against Fulham, before they contemplate a trip to Bolton or Bournemouth in the fourth round.
