Rochdale moved level on points with Carlisle at the top of the table this week, the two sides having an identical record in their ten games only for United to have a slightly better goal difference. 'Dale's win coming on Monday in a 3-0 victory at home to Blackpool in a match played at Dark Lane, Rossendale United FC, their goals coming from Callum Byrne, Bolton-loanee Temitope Obadeyi and Preston youth team trialist Oliver Devenney.

Blackpool then losing their second reserve game of the week on Wednesday when they went down 4-3 in a bottom of the table clash at Accrington Stanley. Ishmel Demontagnac, Danny Mitchley and Kieran Darcy scoring for the Seasiders while attempting to find out who got the goals for Accrington's second-string is the usual impossibility on their hopeless official website.
