Reserves League Round-Up This Week

Last updated : 18 February 2010 By Thetashkentterror
With Carlisle's scheduled game at home to Accrington Stanley postponed due to a frozen pitch, the only match to take place happened at a snowy Kirklands Stadium, Cammell Laird FC as Wrexham picked up a good 4-1 win away to Tranmere.

Nathan Fairhurst and Matty Wolfenden putting the Red Dragons 2-0 up at the break, before early in the second half Charlie Barnett pulled a goal back for Rovers. That was as it good as it got for the home side though as Wrexham scored twice more through Obi Anoruo and Sam Williamson to seal a comfortable victory.

Next week there are three games scheduled to be played in the division, with Carlisle not being one of the six sides in action. All the matches take place on Wednesday afternoon, and one of them, in Rochdale at home to Blackpool, gives the 'Dale the chance to move above United to the top of the table with a win.
