Reserves League Round-Up This Week

Goals from Manny Richardson and Gavin Rothery in the first half guiding the Blues to victory despite a Max Power strike for Rovers minutes from time leading to some nervy moments late in the game for United at 2-1 up. Preston meanwhile having their home game against Wrexham at the QED Stadium, Bamber Bridge postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Next week the only game scheduled to be played in the division sees home team Rochdale take on Blackpool at Dark Lane, Rossendale United. Other sides in the league have opted to play in the League Cup this season and Morecambe, Oldham and Preston are all in action in that competition.
