Carlisle's latest announced friendly came on Monday afternoon away to Hibs, with it being the usual mix of youth teamers and out of favour professionals on show, although Stephen O'Halloran and Andy Welsh both got 90 minutes in on their continued comeback from injury, Craig Curran though not featuring once more after suffering a very minor setback in his knee injury rehabilitation.

Hibs, with trialists Matty Pattison and Pa Saikou Kujab in their side took the lead in the fifth minute before Carlisle equalised ten minutes into the second-half when Paddy Madden tapped a low cross home from close range. United then going the closest to grabbing a victory late on when both substitute David Symington and left-winger Welsh struck the home woodwork.
