Vipond Sees Red And Goes West

The 19-year old central midfielder was first involved at Carlisle first-team level way back in December 2006 when on he was on the substitutes bench for a thumping 5-0 defeat at Swansea City. Vipond eventually making his debut for the Blues almost three months later when he replaced Luke Joyce in the final minute of a 2-0 reverse at Millwall.
Shaun then going on to make his one and only start for United to date, after coming up through the youth ranks at the club, in a 3-0 defeat at Scunthorpe on the final day of the 2006-07 season. With first-team chances still very limited for Vipond though he now links up with Darren Edmondson's Workington Reds on loan for a month.
