The Carling Cup
After winning in the second round of the League Cup for the first time in 34 years on Wednesday night, Blues fans, players, coaches and officials alike will all be nervously awaiting the third round draw of the competition, which takes place during Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports One and Sky Sports News from 12.15pm.

The remaining seven Premier League teams who are in European competition, in Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Fulham, Liverpool and Manchester United all come into the draw at this stage. Villa now presumably more interested in the Carling Cup after being knocked out of the Europa League last night at the hands of Rapid Vienna.

Only two other teams are in the final 32 of the competition that do not come from the Championship or the Premier League, the pair being Leeds United and Port Vale. Plenty of big guns then still in the draw at this third round stage and Carlisle will be hoping to pick out a plum tie at home, or on the road at a big four outfit, the full list of unseeded draw numbers being as follows :
