Following some impressive performances for the youth team during his two year YTS spell at Brunton Park Todd, like Mark Beck, Brad Potts and David Symington was handed a 12-month professional contract with United at the end of last season. The teenage central midfielder not having the best start to his career though after straining his hamstring in a youth team pre-season friendly 2-2 draw against Celtic Nation at Raydale Park in mid-July.
So, with that in mind, and with Carlisle having plenty of depth in central midfield areas at first team level Todd has today moved to Borough Park to link up with Workington Reds on loan for a month to get some games and match fitness in. Josh going straight into the Workington squad for their tough looking fixture away to Chester FC this evening in Blue Square Bet North.
