With Brandon Gwinnutt, Danny Livesey, Jack Lynch, Alex Salmon, Paul Thirlwell and Josh Todd all having previously signed their new contract offers, the news of Robson penning his new deal today means there is just striker Lee Miller left out of contract with the Cumbrians. It now looking highly unlikely that the 30-year old frontman will be remaining at Brunton Park next season.

Of those eight players, Robson was the only one to be offered a two-year deal and that means that the 28-year old left-winger, who won five player of the season awards last year, is now contracted to United until the summer of 2015. Robson having already been at the club for four years following his signing from Hartlepool in 2009 now having 176 appearances and scored 19 goals for the Blues.
