Carlisle United Football Club are delighted to announce Edinburgh Woollen Mill as our official shirt sponsor for the 2017/18 season.

The instantly recognisable EWM logo will appear in pride of place on all first team and replica shirts for the first time next season, due to be revealed ahead of the new campaign.

Chairman Andrew Jenkins said: “It was fantastic for the club that we were able to extend our commercial partnership with the Edinburgh Woollen Mill recently and this is an excellent example of the way in which our working relationship will develop.

“The EWM branding has been prominent around the club for close to a decade now and it will be good to see their logo on the new shirt next season. We are proud to be associated with such a strong, internationally recognised company and we are looking forward to seeing our partnership strengthen further over the coming months and years.”

Sales and Marketing Director Phil King said: “Having a brand name like EWM on the front of our first team shirts is something we are very excited about. They have been long-standing supporters of the club with their valued sponsorship of a section of our main stand, which includes Foxy’s Restaurant and the use of an executive box, and ground board advertising. This takes the partnership on another step and I know everyone will be pleased with how the branding will look when it appears on the shirt.”

David Read, Head of Marketing for the Edinburgh Woollen Mill said: “We are delighted to further build on the excellent relationship we have enjoyed with Carlisle United through our sponsorship of the kit for 2017/18 and we wish the club every success in the season ahead.”

The Club also wishes go on record with a huge thank you to Shaun Nugent and DSD Construction for their sponsorship of our first team strips and training kit in 2016/17.

Phil King added: “We’ve said on a number of occasions how important it is to have close links with local businesses and it was fantastic for us to have DSD support the club. Having spoken to Shaun recently I know he valued the exposure the sponsorship deal brought for DSD and we are looking forward to working with him and his company very closely as we go on from here.”
