The Merthyr-born striker cum right-winger joined the County Durham club on the 28th January in what was originally a one-month loan spell, although that was later extended to two months. Due to Carlisle's deepening injury problems though he has been brought back to Cumbria today after making seven starts and one substitute appearance, and scoring no goals, in his time at the 96.6 TFM Darlington Arena.

Blues boss John Ward commenting on his decision to recall 26-year old Gall to Brunton Park :

"I think Kevin is happy to come back, Kevin always knew the score as did Darlington, that if we had a problem we would bring him back in. He has done his six weeks over there though, and once I'd spoken to him he was quite happy to come back and help the cause."
