Fans' Forum to held at Brunton Park on 2 August
Carlisle United and BBC Radio Cumbria will host a Fans’ Forum in the Sunset Suite at Brunton Park from 7pm on Tuesday 2 August ahead of the new season.
The Forum will be broadcast online via the BBC Radio Cumbria website with live online reporting from the News & Star and through the official Club channels.
The Forum panel will be hosted by James Phillips from BBC Radio Cumbria and will consist of Club shareholders:
• Club Chairman and majority shareholder, Andrew Jenkins
• A representative of CUOSC* the Club’s second largest shareholder
Club directors:
• Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens
• Finance Director Suzanne Kidd
• Sales and Marketing Director Phil King
• Director of External Affairs John Nixon
Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens said: “With the new season fast approaching, this latest forum is another good opportunity for us all to get together and discuss the club and its future direction from all our different perspectives and for supporters to put their questions to us all face to face.
“Following on from our attendance at the CUSC London Branch meeting on Friday and the Carlisle United Supporters’ Group Meeting last week, events like this can play a crucial part in sharing views and information, which brings the Club and its fans closer together.
“I hope as many fans from the across the community come along as possible and those who can’t attend on the night can follow and enjoy the event live on BBC Radio Cumbria.”
Doors to the Sunset Suite open at 6.30pm on the night and entry is free. The Forum will run until approximately 8pm [but will over-run if required].
