Dalton's Weakly Left Brunton Park

Featuring mainly as a right-winger for the Cumbrians youth and reserve teams Dalton was signed by former United boss Neil McDonald in July last year on a two-year deal. Dalton, who had been playing for Scarborough in the Conference North, having been a free agent after his hometown club folded on the 20th of June.

The 17-year old never featured for the first-team in his spell at Brunton Park, and for me, after he impressed in a couple of pre-season friendlies, he never really sparkled when playing for the reserve and youth sides. Dalton scoring a total of six goals for the youngsters, while failing to find the back of the net in second-string colours.
