Cumberland Cup Semi-Final Draw

After defeating Penrith AFC 6-1 at home on Tuesday night, Carlisle have once more been drawn at Brunton Park is the semi-finals where they will face Gillford Park in a match that needs to be played by the 24th of March. Gillford themselves getting through to the final four of the competition after defeating Warwick Wanderers 3-2 at home in their quarter-final, the Northern League Division Two side heaving already beaten Silloth 3-0 on the road and Netherhall 2-0 at home in the earlier rounds.

The other semi-final meanwhile sees Mirehouse AFC play Harraby Catholic Club at home, Mirehouse beating Longtown 5-2 at home in the quarters, while the Catholic Club needed penalties, in which they won 3-2 in the shootout, to defeat Penrith Rangers away from home following a 1-1 draw after extra-time. Mirehouse earlier having beaten Whitehaven Miners Social 2-0 at home and Eden Thistle 7-0 away, while Harraby defeated Carlisle City 2-1 away and then Workington Red House 6-2 at home in rounds two and three.
