The FA Cup
The Blues picking up their fourth Brunton Park match out of four in cup competitions so far this season, with three of those being against lower league opposition. This time though you would expect life to be even easier for the Cumbrians as they have been drawn against two sides that are about as far down the non-league pyramid as it is possible to get in the first round of the FA Cup.

The Fourth Qualifying Round tie between the eighth tier club (Sheffield FC of the Evo-Stik League Division One South) and ninth tier side (Tipton Town of the Baker-Joiner Midland Football Alliance Division One) finishing all-square at 2-2 yesterday at the Coach and Horses Ground in South Yorkshire in an entertaining encounter.

Cameron Jones putting Town ahead as early as five minutes in before Andy Gascoigne and Brian Cusworth made it 2-1 to the home side at the break. Tipton top scorer Danny Campbell midway through the second-half though ensuring that the tie has gone to a replay which will take place this coming Wednesday evening, when United will obviously find out who will they face on Saturday 6th November in the First Round Proper.

Elsewhere in the draw that was made live on ITV this lunchtime, Southport at home to Sheffield Wednesday looks to be one of the standout ties, while Fleetwood Town at home to Walsall is another Blue Square Bet Premier side at home to a League One club. Finally, as far as non-league matters are concerned there are six ties between teams at that level of the pyramid, therefore guareenting that many clubs in Round Two.
