Blues left-back Zigor Aranalde spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Saturday evening as he gave his opinion on the 2-1 defeat at home to the Swans. Spaniard Aranalde talking about the second goal scored by the visitors :

" It has been a good season but I think we should have achieved something else, I'm very, very disappointed but we all know we should be a little bit further up in the table. That's it though, we have to get on with it, think of the next season and start again at being a good team. We have good players so if we keep the team and bring in a few more players then we will be very, very competitive next season.

" We had a couple of chances to kill the game off in the second-half but we didn't. They killed off it in the very last minute but I think it was a handball. I don't like to blame referees because it is a very, very difficult job but last season we were beaten with a handball and this season they scored with a handball and they didn't give anything. They should look at that mistake as well, if we do a mistake then we get punished, nothing happens to them but I'll live with that.

" We've shown through the season that we are a good team, we had a little bit of a bad spell for a couple of months after Christmas but the team is there. It's a good group and you obviously have to bring new players in every season. That is the job of the manager and he has been shown to be a good manager this season so I think we'll keep going on it.

" I think Leeds will be a little bit more disappointed today than us, it's a good team and it will be nice to go and play at Elland Road. Another good team but they will find it difficult. I'd like to take this chance to say thank you to everybody, the fans and the club have been magnificent and take the chance to congratulate Gretna as well. They have achieved something very, very nice and they are neighbours so congratulations to them.

" They (Scunthorpe) are having a party already but we will go there and aim to win. There is no point going to play a match without thinking of winning it, that's my mentality and I think everybody has got that mentality. We'll go there, enjoy the afternoon, play good football, see if the fans enjoy it as well, and let's see if we can win and finish the season on a high. "
