United's Spanish star Zigor Aranalde spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Saturday evening as he talked about the great win over Grimsby, his own lifestyle and what the next few weeks hold for the Blues in the promotion run-in :

" It's been absolutely magnificent, this was the game we had to win and we did it so we are very close to what we want to achieve, we need to keep it going though because on Tuesday we have what is the most important game now. If we win on Tuesday then we will be looking at winning the league so the next one will be important as well, Tuesday is massive for us. My thinking is that I would like to win the league, you can't win things every day so, at my age as well, it would be beautiful to win the league, I'll fight for that.

" It was very, very difficult and very tough because they are good at the aerial bombardment. We dealt with that and had half a chance which (Michael) Bridges got into the net. That's football though and I'm very glad with the performance from everybody. Tomorrow I will be doing the same as always, I'll get up, I'll go for a half an hour jog and a few stretches, and that will make me recover quicker than doing nothing, that's what I usually do 99% of the time so I'll keep doing it.

" I don't need to look at the league table to know it looks good but hopefully everybody else will look at it. I'd also like to say thank you to everybody who came here and went to the Millennium (Stadium) because today has been magnificent. Throughout the season it has been absolutely magnificent but the last two games, the Millennium and here, the feeling has been unbelievable, so hopefully we'll keep these people coming to the matches.

" I'm looking forward to Notts County at home if we manage to win on Tuesday, that game we could be mathematically promoted so that would be absolutely magnificent. First of all though we've got to keep our feet on the floor, we play on Tuesday and get the best out of ourselves, try to win it, and then we can look forward to the next two games. I think overall we deserved to win it today, they had a good chance in the first-half, Keiren (Westwood) made a great save but I don't remember any other clear opportunity for them. We didn't have many either but I think overall we were better than them, but they are a good team and I think they will be very close to getting promoted as well. "
