Stuart LewisChairboys midfielder Stuart Lewis spoke to BBC Three Counties Radio and his club's official website after his side's 1-1 League One draw against Carlisle at Adams Park, Lewis saying you can never underestimate a point :

"I think on the reflection of the game I thought we deserved a lot more than a point, but obviously we will take that again and you can never underestimate a point. Hopefully we can have a positive result on Monday and then it has been a good weekend again. It is a massive point and I think we can really attack Monday at Chesterfield and I know all the boys are looking forward to it and I think we can get all three.

"I think we owe Chesterfield one for how they beat us away at their place last season, they dominated the game and thoroughly deserved it, although obviously we went up afterwards. I think we have got to go there and really sort of attack them and I think the way we are playing at the moment we can do that and I believe in us. It would be good to get ahead in a game and we have done that on this little run we are on at the moment before.

"But, hopefully we can get up there and have a good start and get a few goals. But, even if it is the 90th minute and we get a win again then that it is all that matters. I think that Chesterfield are a footballing team and the way they played last season we know what they are capable of. But, how we are playing at the moment I think we can counter-attack that and I think we can go up to Chesterfield and put a really good display on.

"I remember last year against Oxford and Northampton and Torquay we got late goals and we came back and we got important draws and at the end of the season and they were massive for us. So, if you can just keep picking up points every game then they are huge at the moment. I think the teams around us will be looking at the scores and seeing we are losing, but when we keep these late goals and gaining the points then they will be massive.

"The own goal was tough on Base (Grant Basey), obviously he couldn't do too much about it as it has come off the woodwork. But, I think over the last few weeks how we have reacted after going 1-0 down, we have got belief in the team now that we keep going to the 95th minute or whatever it is. So, that was a disappointment but we bounced back well and it is not a fluke if you do it three weeks running and that is testament to us in keeping going."

"I think in the last three weeks we have played MK Dons, Stevenage and Carlisle who are all in that top seven or eight and we have given them a real good game. I felt that we could have taken all three points off Carlisle today and last week at Stevenage I thought we deserved more than we got.

"I thought we did put pressure on Carlisle in the last 15 or 20 minutes and we were unlucky with a few attempts. It was disappointing we didn't put one away but we left it late and that is the main thing that we got a point after a good day's performance. I think everyone's pulses are racing and getting used to the late goals, but mine was a great strike and one that I don't think I will probably hit like that in my life again.

"My first goal has been a long time coming to be honest, the gaffer (Gary Waddock) has been on me a little bit to take more strikes and I have even had Leon Johnson saying to take a bit off it, they have all been giving me tips on how to get my first goal. But, it was sweet as well because of how late it was in the game and it is a big point for us at this stage of the season, and hopefully I can go on a little run now.

"I think Beavs (Stuart Beavon) has done great and he has laid me in instead of having a shot, but obviously once you have scored 25 goals you can't knock him for doing that. But, yeah, it has come to me and it is on my left foot so I don't know, I hit one in training yesterday actually and the boys were all laughing at me with my left foot. But, it happened in the game today so it was great and a really good feeling.

"Chipping in is something you have got to do as a midfielder, it has taken me 38 games but I have got there eventually. Last year I got two in one game so hopefully they will come along like buses because I have got a wager with the boys as well, so hopefully I can have a nice summer holiday on them."
