Southampton centre-half Radhi Jaidi spoke to his club's official website about his 94th minute equaliser against Carlisle at Brunton Park, the Tunisian international not a regular goalscorer for club or country :

"Obviously having had so many chances and not scoring was in the back of our minds. Luckily the goalkeeper (Lenny Pidgeley) came for the ball and left it, so it was a good opportunity to score the goal. I don't know what the injury time was, but it was a good reaction from all the team to come back into the game.

"I don't exactly remember my last goal, but I remember that it was a long time ago so I am happy to score here! It's my first goal for Southampton and I'm hoping that it's not my last, so I will work hard to score more for the fans.

"It was very late the goal, but the most important thing is that we didn't deserve to have lost the game. Our shape was ok, and the lads remained focused for all the game. The goal we conceded came from two deflections and Kelvin (Davis) was down already, so it's not like we made big mistakes, but it was a great reaction from all the players to come back here and draw the game.

"These are the type of games where anything can happen. The crowd was big today and the pressure was big for them in this game, so I think that one point is better than nothing. It is a good statistic not being beaten in six games. That gives us more confidence, and gives the manager more confidence to build a big team, a solid team. Now we can look forward to getting results in our next games.

"We are all looking forward to the next game now especially as it is not far away. It's at home which is good, so we will want to win it. Obviously two games at home is a massive opportunity. We will take it game by game, and if we win the first one then it will give us more confidence to get on and win the second game. I know it is not easy to win games, but we have a better team now in terms of confidence and we can use that to our advantage to win matches."
