Orient manager Geraint Williams spoke to BBC Radio London and his club's official website after his side's 2-2 draw with Carlisle at the Matchroom Stadium yesterday, Williams happy with the spirit the O's showed in the second-half :

" If you look at the game as a whole it looked like two very tired teams who've played an awful lot of games, and especially with us, extra-time on Wednesday. It was a tough game for both teams I thought today. It's disappointing to draw the game having gone into injury time with a lead, it wasn't the best performance footballing-wise, but you won't see many better for big hearts.

" First-half we looked tired and we didn't play a lot of football. Carlisle dominated and you have to give them credit because they played on Wednesday as well, although we did have extra-time. I was just disappointed that we didn't get all three points but I would think that they probably think that they deserved a point, which is fair enough.

" I have to got to say that I have got every sympathy with Carlisle, I thought that it was a soft penalty. Although I thought that we should have had a legitimate one a bit later on when Jason Demetriou got pushed down as he went to the by-line. So I keep saying that these things even themselves out, I thought that it was a soft penalty the first one, but I thought that it was a penalty that we weren't given because of it, but whether it evened itself out who knows.

" The second goal was very good and Adrian (Patulea) has got great feet and he got in very well and then a little bit of nifty footwork and Scotty (McGleish) finished it off with aplomb. To be fair, the two of them could have had another one or two as well, so it was good to see those two being bright at the end.

" I challenged the players at half-time to show me that they weren't just going to give in because we have had a lot of games, and a lot of them have played in nearly all of them. I have got not enough praise for the players really the way that they dug in in the second-half and they refused to let it go. They certainly did that, everyone rolled their sleeves up and fought to a man, and we could have come away with three points in the end which is fantastic testament to the players' spirit.

" We know that Cat (Glenn Morris) is a good goalkeeper, he shows it every day in training and him and Jamie (Jones) have got great competition and it is good for the both of them. We had no worries when he came in that he would do the job for us and he did very well. He made some fantastic saves, especially towards the end when they threw a lot of long balls into the box and got some headers in, so I'm delighted for him."
