Neil McDonald - Radio Cumbria Interview

Blues manager Neil McDonald
Ex-United boss Neil McDonald spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey just this morning and only an hour or two before his sensational sacking from his Brunton Park post, some of that interview is transcripted below :

" The league is the most important thing but we got through last year, we made a few changes, I don't think we are going to make that many changes tomorrow. We try to win every game if we possibly can and if you get into the next round you get a chance of getting one of the bigger guns, which is excellent. Everybody likes a cup run, but at the same time our focus is in on the league.

" Bury won on Saturday which will have put their tails up, and they play a direct style of football so it's something now for us to try to cope with. We haven't really played against a direct team for a long time so it is going to be very interesting tomorrow. "
