United duo Joe Garner and Zigor Aranalde spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey this afternoon as they talked about the see-saw 4-2 home victory over Hartlepool earlier today, neither player being one to look at the league tables in great detail :

" I think everyone saw that it was a bit of a weird game, we were behind twice but we stuck in and came out with the points. Before we conceded I think we looked like we were going to score, they caught us on a little break but we got in quite quickly after they scored. "

ZA

" They weren't the best of conditions but you have to play the conditions all the time, it was wet and it was slippy. I think that throughout the game we managed to deal with everything, we got punished a couple of times.

"We knew how to come back, we did it very, very well and the man here (Joe Garner) has been fantastic again and scored twice so if we keep him scoring then it's no problem. If the transfer window comes and he has to go somewhere else then it will be for his benefit so I will be very happy."

JG

" The last two games I think we have a struggled a little bit but today we got three points, we are good at home and came and got what we wanted. "

ZA

" Playing at home or anywhere it is very, very important to win. I don't think that we should look at the table too much game in and game out. We won today, we have to win on Saturday in any manner and that is the most important thing. Then if we're first or second then that's fine but I don't think that we should spend too much time watching the table.

" It's only come here, work game in and game out trying to win everything, if we can't win at least get a point and when we lose just get back on, come in on Monday and work hard. With that mentality and attitude we will go far, if we do otherwise then we will struggle maybe.

" Of course you look at league tables sometimes but I tend not to spend too much time looking at the table because we won today. If we get the other results in our favour, Swansea dropped 1-1 as on 90 minutes Swindon scored so that is another good result for us. We've done ours, let's see what the others do but as long as we win our games everything will be in place, we know that so that is the most important thing. "

JG

" I don't really look at league tables much to be honest.I'm very happy with my goalscoring form, I think that my goalscoring record at the moment is quite good so I'm happy. I think that you want to score in every game but you just try to get on with it. "
