United left-winger Matty Robson spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's James Phillips after Carlisle's 3-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at home to Bradford City, Robson saying that Scott Dobie's 68th minute goal to make it 2-0 came at a vital time :

" The players are very satisfied, obviously with another clean sheet as well and goals to go with it. It is a fantastic dressing-room at the minute with the run we have been on as well, it is a good place to be. We went in at half-time 1-0 up and they were going to come out fighting, and they did, they had a good spell for ten minutes but we got a goal at a vital time through Scott Dobie and then we killed it off at the end.

" You say ugly wins and we have picked up a couple lately, but you take them any way you can get them. It is not all about pretty football and playing the right stuff, if you can just pick up any wins, either way you can, well it is a good feeling really. I think the first shot I have had tonight the keeper (Simon Eastwood) has parried it and Richard Keogh - there were questions of him what he was doing that far up the field in the first place. But he was obviously in the right place to put it in the back of the net.

" The second chance I had, I don't know what happened, a bit of confusion between the two defenders and I have just gone on and put it away. The ball got cleared and I was just going to put pressure on their full-back but I don't know what happened, I don't know whether he stopped and thought the other guy was going to get it. But I have nipped in front of him and then I have just taken off, gone across the other full-back and then shot across the goalkeeper, it was a good goal to be fair.

" I have come across the pitch and then I have gone down, it was a long way, it took a while to get my breath back after that one, but it is a great feeling to score a goal at any time. I think it is up there with my favourites, obviously when you have come from the halfway line, to then finish it off with an end product, fantastic. But I would take a toe-poke from two yards out really.

" We are at the top of the form table at the minute with the run we are on, we have got to look to continue that. Obviously it will be a tough game at the weekend but we are going there with high spirits and we will be going there for the win. Colchester might have had people here watching tonight and they will go down there with their reports. But we go down there with a job to do, we are not going to go and sit back for a draw, that is not the way we play, and we will go and try to get three points.

" We have got a fantastic draw at Leeds to look forward too as well and there is no reason why we can't go on and win the game, a two-legged affair. We go to their place and be solid and then look to kick it on here. If we can keep this run up there is no reason why we can't reach the play-offs again. We have got a squad at the minute that is really high on confidence. Teams will start looking at us and think that we are on a good run, they pull their socks up, they work hard for each other and that is what we do. "
