City skipper Darren Pratley spoke to The Evening Post about his side's 5-0 demolition of an injury-hit Carlisle United yesterday, Pratley talking about Blues midfielder Chris Lumsdon's comments before the game that the Swans were "underachievers" :

"When a player makes comments like that I expect them to be world class. I expect them to be playing for their country and at a World Cup. But he is League One and he is League One for a reason. I saw the comments he made in the Evening Post saying that our fans weren't happy with the players and things like that.

"What was his name? Lumsley? Whoever he was, we didn't worry about him. To be fair, I didn't see him. We won, scored five goals and kept a clean sheet. The attendance seemed like it was a full house. The fans were buzzing from the start. It was nice to finally play at home and that everything went for us."

Meanwhile Scouse midfielder Andy Robinson commented on the 5-0 thrashing of United at the Liberty Stadium :

"At times on Saturday, in the first half especially, we were playing champagne football. I think the fans went home happy after seeing that performance, but we've got to keep it going through what is a massive period in the season. To be a promotion-winning team we've got to do it week-in, week-out. We all know this team is capable of doing it, but we've lacked that consistency this year.

"We've won a couple but then lost a couple and it hasn't been good enough. Over the last two or three years we haven't had the best of times around Christmas but we've set ourselves up with this win and hopefully we can kick on from here. We've got to concentrate and give 100 per cent every week and then the consistency should come.

''I've got to say on the record that he (Ian Craney) was magnificent. Fair play to him, that was one of the best home debuts I've seen since I've been at the club. Lee Trundle is claiming an assist for my goal and another one for Rory's second when he fell over in the box. He wants to score every week, but three assists isn't a bad day's work and he's happy with a 5-0 win.''
