Hatters assistant manager Sam Ellis spoke to the official Luton Town website about the 0-0 draw against Carlisle at Kenilworth Road tonight, Ellis complimenting the efforts of young Hatters striker Calvin Andrew :

"Calvin has shown tonight what he can do. He is an inexperienced lad, but I can only see him getting better after each game. Doing the things he did tonight is good for us. There were signs of a 'Paul Furlong' in him, which can only be good for us. He has got no critics within the club, all he gets is encouragement from the players and the staff.

"He (Drew Talbot) declared himself fit to sit on the bench after a long viral problem. That just shows the attitude of the players that they just want to get on with it. In a game like that we might have been missing a player with a bit of cunning but overall at home I don't think so.

"Carlisle are on a crest of a wave at the moment so it's a compliment really that the team who are on top of the league come here and don't want to play football. A couple of times they hit us on the break, but over the 90 minutes I thought we were the better team and had the better chances. But sometimes these things don't go for you. We might have had a couple of decision off that linesman with the yellow flag as well.

"We could have easily had three goals on any other night. Of course we are disappointed with the result. But we are playing the team who are top of the league, and we have had the better chances, had the better amount of play and we can't ask more than that. You are going to get the odd draw at home so we are not complaining."
