Carlisle's skipper Kevin Gray spoke exclusively to BBC Radio Cumbria on Saturday evening as he talked about the 1-1 draw against the Robins, his own goal, and how the team are coping with any thoughts about promotion :

" It can be a cruel game. Obviously we’ve done very well today, we’ve battled well, we’ve played some good stuff at times, obviously got ourselves in the lead and were looking comfortable. I mean, we were comfortable, they never caused us many problems at all, it’s just unfortunate that that had to happen at the end.

" The ball has just gone far-post and the lad has gone to head it back across and as a defender you do try and clear them, unfortunately I’ve headed it in the back of my own net, it’s absolutely gutting.

" It’s two points dropped to be honest with you. We’ve done well today and as you say it can be cruel sometimes to be ten seconds away from going top of the league. We’ve still got that well within our capabilities though, we’ve got games coming up, obviously we’ve got a break this week in the Cup, but we’ll be looking to go again in the league away at Macclesfield next Sunday so we’re still capable of doing it.

" The LDV is important for us. I think that realistically the most important thing for us is the league now but it would nice for us to go all the way in that competition now, we will be trying for that.

" With the start we’ve had we’re now looking at an automatic promotion place but we’ll just take each game as it comes now, and obviously we’re going out and wanting to win them all, that goes without saying. We are just focused on each game as it comes up, not really looking at promotion now, we don’t want to start talking about that now but we are in a good position for it.

" Our support has been brilliant home and away from the start of this season so it’s brilliant that, and we’re obviously gutted for them because it’s very disappointing. "
