United frontman Kevin Gall spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey this week about his current situation at Brunton Park, Gall talking about his disappointing loan spell at Lincoln City earlier this season :

" It was a bit of a bad year last year for myself really. I have got to try to think positively about it though and just try to do something about it this year, and hopefully try to get a chance and see what comes of it really. It has been frustrating for a while and it was sort of unsuccessful when I went down there to Lincoln, it just didn't work out obviously the way that I had hoped.

" That is football though and I am not going to say anything about it, I am just going to get on with it. I have been professional about it when I went down there and came back. I have worked hard since I came back and now obviously my loan is up down there so I am back up here training. Hopefully, I don't know what is going to happen with everybody, and it is a just a case of sitting here waiting for a chance. If I don't get it then I will have to see what to do really.

" It has been frustrating and I have been dying to get back and play, I am dying to get a game and I am dying to play. I have got that drive to do well and hopefully I will get a chance because obviously at the time John Ward was here whatever happened happened. I went down there to Lincoln and I wanted to prove him wrong.

" Things happened down there where Lincoln weren't doing so well when we were playing and he (Peter Jackson) changed the side. Things happened and I am not just going to talk about it either, it has gone, it is in the past. I have just got to get my head down and just keep working hard and see what comes of it really. I could have thrown the towel in a long time ago but I am not really like that. I am just going to keep going and keep working hard and see what comes of it really. "
