666769-1MK Dons boss Karl Robinson spoke to BBC Three Counties Radio and his club's official website after his side's 3-1 League One win over Carlisle at Brunton Park, Robinson saying the good form of the Dons at the start of the season is a complete team effort :

"It is our side, it is our team, it is the fans and players and the board, we are a team, it is not mine, I have never ever took credit for it, we all work hard. I am so proud of how we can come and play football in that style, you have seen some goals this year that won't be as good as the ones that we have scored. I thought Darren Potter's ball for Charlie (MacDonald's) first, I thought our second goal if it had been at the highest level people would have been talking about it for days and weeks to come.

"Then obviously our last one with our left-back (Dean Lewington) scoring that goal, so it just shows you how far we have come. Now we know Dean has got a right foot but I don't know where that one came from, but he is a good footballer and he should chip in with more assits and more goals with the quality he possesses and today just showed how he can do that.

"When Carlisle get a bit of a storm behind them here and they start to turn it on the crowd here are deafening and it is difficult. Disappointed with their goal as I always will be, I thought we were very lacklustre in the way we gave the free-kick away and in the way we defended. That is not like us, slightly picky maybe but I have got to look at the negatives sometimes, but it is almost there, we are almost there.

"I thought Mark Beevers came in and he showed what quality he has got as well. I know that when we go and select our players to come in we select them very carefully and they are able to come in and look like they have been here all season and that is the most pleasing thing for me. Competition is what I wanted, it is what I was aiming to do in the summer and we are slowly getting there but we are still a long way away, I am keeping my feet firmly on the ground.

"I am very proud though because it is a tough place to come, seven hours yesterday and I believe the Blackpool lights were getting turned on yesterday evening and we were caught in that traffic, so it took us a while to get here but it is another one to bed, with Yeovil and Exeter they were grounds we hadn't won at either and we have turned that round this year. But, it is still very early days, I will keep saying that to you until the middle of May.

"It will be nice not to have a midweek game; I've given the boys tomorrow and Monday off. They need it and they deserve it, they can go and relax at their own leisure and do what they want for the first time in almost two months. We will regroup on Tuesday and it's a great game to look forward to, Sheffield Wednesday away and then Burnley away and they Huddersfield at home - it's what it's all about, playing against the big teams."
