Town boss Russell Slade spoke exclusively to Grimsby Town's official website about the big game coming up tomorrow afternoon as he commented about the threat both sides have at the business end of the pitch :

"We will be going for it - that's what I have told the lads this week. Promotion is our main aim but we have a chance to go level with Carlisle if we win tomorrow and that's what we are hoping for. But we will have to stay solid at the other end to give us a platform to build-on if we are to get anything out of the game.

"There has been a lot made of the threat they pose with Karl Hawley and Michael Bridges scoring for fun of late. But we have our own threat in the shape of Michael Reddy and Gary Jones who have 27 goals between them. Hopefully we will be able to ask a few questions of the Carlisle defence.

"They could easily get us another five or six between them. We will be looking to keep their strike-force quiet and I suppose they will be thinking the same about us as they plan for the game. We are confident we can go there and get a result and that is what we are concentrating on.

"I've said it many time before that our away fans have been magnificent this season. They have travelled in big numbers all over the country and will no doubt be at Carlisle in force. I expect more than 1,000 to make the long trip - hopefully we can send them home happier than last time out at Lincoln."

Slade is likely to pick an attacking line-up for the first against second clash with recent signing and winger Marc Goodfellow set to keep his place after an impressive home debut in the Mariners 2-0 home win over Wrexham.

Ex-Gretna man Gary Cohen is rated doubtful though, the midfielder currently struggling with a knee injury, so Andy Parkinson is on standby to step in for Town in Cohen's right hand-sided midfield role. Curtis Woodhouse is also suffering from a nagging hip injury which could keep him on the sidelines.
