Blues boss Greg Abbott
United boss Greg Abbott spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Mark McAlindon at Monday morning's open press conference for the local media, Abbott looking forward to tomorrow's big League One match at Elland Road against Leeds :

" We've got a good record at Leeds, we have played very well against Leeds and we know we have got to go there with a gameplan. We have got to defend properly, we have got to make sure that we get the ball without giving it away too cheaply and give them the ammunition to come back at us. We have worked very hard this morning on what we are going to do with the ball and what we intend to do without the ball. So tomorrow night will be the crux of whether it works or not.

" I know everything I need to know about Leeds to be honest. They are a side that doesn't need much introduction. I live in Wetherby, I hear about them, I read about them every other day and everyone tells me how good they are and what they have got and what they haven't got. So I didn't really need to read the scouting reports to be honest but I have read them all and they agree with what I said. It will be an easy fixture for us tonight, just go there and win 2-0 and that is it.

" Their front two (Jermaine Beckford and Luciano Becchio) are a massive threat, they are probably the best pairing in our league. Very, very good players, one is an out and out goalscorer, the other one makes goals and scores goals.

" We have to deal with them, I think that is the key to our success, if we can stop the supply into them, and when the supply does get into them then deal with that then we have a chance of winning the game. But they are definitely a pair who I think are the best in the league and if you can snuff them out, like we did (Rickie) Lambert who is the most prolific, along with Beckford then we will have a chance.
