Blues frontman Danny Graham
United striker Danny Graham spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Saturday evening as he talked about the 2-0 victory against Brighton at Brunton Park yesterday, Graham suggesting that the Carlisle players just need to concentrate on their own form and not think about results elsewhere :

" To be honest Evan (Horwood) has put a great ball down the line, quick thinking, Si (Simon Hackney) has made a good run and he's fizzed the ball across, It's flicked off a defender right into my path and it's hit my jaw and luckily it's bounced in. I went all those games without scoring and I'm scoring off every part of my body at the minute which is pleasing.

" I didn't know it was my 50th appearance for the club to be honest but the gaffer (John Ward) has put a lot of faith in me and hopefully I'm repaying him now. I think I've scored five in my last six or seven now which is pleasing but the best thing about it is that we are getting the right results and we are winning all our games at the minute, and long may it continue.

" It was very difficult conditions, you can see the pitch, it's a heavy pitch and it cuts up easy. On the back of a very good result at Nottingham Forest where everyone worked ever so hard, we started slowly but we have got great character within everyone and it's come through again and we've got the three points.

" Brighton came and they gave us a really good game. We knew that it wasn't going to be an easy game at the start. We gave them the right respect that they deserved and thankfully the main thing is that we have ground out another win at home. It's put us right back into the thick of things, I think that Forest drew today which has opened up a little gap to them which is nice. So hopefully we can concentrate now on Luton, the Brighton game has gone, and see if we can get another three points against Luton.

" The gap is a lot for Forest to make up but us as players have to be professional. We are not going to look at other results too much, we haven't done that all season so I don't see why we should do it now. I think it's best if we just concentrate on our own game, it's paid off for us so far and if we concentrate on ourselves then I'm sure that we'll be up there at the end of the season.

" Everyone in the dressing-room, the confidence is sky high, we've taken points off Forest, Crewe, Doncaster and now Brighton. So hopefully we can go into the game on Tuesday in the right frame of mind and hopefully get another three points. "
