New Blues-loanee Danny Graham spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Monday evening as he gave his opinion on Carlisle's 1-0 win over the Bantams at Brunton Park. Graham talking about his new team-mates chance to have a ten day rest :

" It was nice to get 90 minutes under my belt, it's the first time I've played in a few weeks but the main thing was that we got the three points and that we did it in a bit of style I think. My legs were going in the last ten minutes, I could feel them, I think I was running on adrenaline in the last ten minutes but the main thing was that we got the three points.

" It's a fortnight until the next game as everyone has been saying, as players when you win a couple of games on the bounce you want the next game to follow quite quickly. I think the lads have got a few days off so we'll come back fresh again ready to kick on for the next game. Anyone who has got an injury can recover from it now in time for the next game, I think the break will do us good as well.

" It's a really enjoyable moment when you run out to make your debut, the fans welcomed me with open arms, it was just nice to finally put on the Carlisle shirt. It was a good performance from the lads and a good performance from myself topped it off really. The chance I missed – the ball was played through, I can't remember who flicked it around the corner, it just seemed to spin and I was stretching a bit. Unluckily enough it just bounced off the top of my foot and over the bar, the main thing was that we got the result in the end.

" It was a great finish from Karl Hawley, he had a great touch, I think that he controlled it with his left foot, knocked it forward with his knee and then smashed it into the top corner, so it was a really good finish. We've had a great return over Christmas, I think you'd be happy with six or seven points over the Christmas period but to get nine is a good return, everyone is absolutely on a high downstairs so it's a good result.
