Blues winger Cleveland Taylor
United winger Cleveland Taylor spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Thursday ahead of the away game at Taylor's old club Scunthorpe United tomorrow, Taylor also chatting about scoring his first goal in United colours against Southend last week :

" Scoring my first goal was a great feeling. It was a nice little tap-in set up by Danny Graham and it was a needed goal that I needed. It was fantastic from the crowd, it was really good and it is nice to know that they are behind me, I have just got to keep playing well for them.

" Probably if I get a bad reception at Scunthorpe then that it is a good thing, that means that we are doing well and that the team is doing well. Hopefully I will get a good one but you never know in football do you. It was a Championship season when I was last there, that was a great season for the club and for myself. Hopefully I can get a good reception but hopefully we are just going there to do a job and that is to get three points for Carlisle, my memories of Scunthorpe are all good though.

" It is a good fixture to have at this time of year, you would rather have them now than later on. So it is a good one to get out of the way but hopefully we can pick some points up there. I'm trying not to speak to anyone there because they ask you questions about who is playing and who people are. It is irrelevant really, just whatever team goes out there can do a job.

" I don't mind talking to you because sometimes you don't want to talk to me, so I must be doing something right if you do want to talk to me. It is good though, it is going to be a good game but it is a big game, it's not just about me, it is about the team and the club really. We have got to go there and get points and continue our good run. Two teams in form and it should be a good game for the fans. We are going there, we are on a good run, we are confident and hopefully we can pick something up there. "
