Peterborough defender Charlie Lee spoke to his club's official website after their 3-3 draw against Carlisle at Brunton Park this afternoon, Lee talking about scoring his first goal of the season during the game :

"From 3-1 down, it is an invaluable point and I think it could turn out to be a priceless point when we analyse the season in May. We showed good heart and character and I am sure the neutrals would have enjoyed it, but it was very frustrating to play in because when you are 3-1 down and missing the chances that we missed, you begin to think it isn't going to be your day.

"We scored a few late goals last season, but I just couldn't see it happening for us, so when Craig (Mackail-Smith) scored, there was immense relief and he took the goal very well. I was just so delighted and the lads in the dressing room were relieved more than anything because we created so many opportunities.

"I managed to get myself on the score-sheet and that corner routine is something we have worked on in training. I managed to get across the defender and I was pleased to see it go in. It took a bit of a deflection, but it was an important time to score.

"I hadn't scored previously this season, so to get off the mark is important for me and hopefully I can contribute a bit more with goals this season. We are on a good run at the minute and we want to keep that going against Brighton on Tuesday night."
