United media officer and first team kitman Andy Hall spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's James Phillips ahead of Carlisle's League One match away to Hartlepool, Hall first talking about the London Branch of the Carlisle United Supporters' Club drawing 4-4 against the Bournemouth Supporters' Club earlier today :

" The London Branch had a fixture themselves this morning, I believe Jimmy Glass played in goal, so they have had a great build-up to the day. The sun is out, I think we were expecting wind and all sorts but it just hasn't materialised, so hopefully that will play in our favour. The pitch is a bit patchy but it is a good firm surface, so who knows?

" It looks like the grass hasn't quite bound the way you want it too. So, it has probably been a bit wet down here, it has cut up a little bit, but there are patches there that you wouldn't want to see at this stage of the season. But, hey, you have got to get on with it, it is a good firm, flat surface so it shouldn't affect things too much.

" Bournemouth seem to score goals for fun, particularly here, they are unbeaten here as well. So, Eddie Howe has got them playing a good brand of football, we think they have got a soft underbelly, I think Greg (Abbott) might have mentioned that.

" So, we want to exploit that and get a goal ourselves, if we can keep the run of clean sheets going then that we think will be enough, because we do think that we can score against this lot today. "

" It is that midfield again, they have got to be doing the protecting job getting back as well as trying to get forward when we have got the ball. Because, I think they do come out at a massively quick tempo, which is why they have been doing so well here at the Fitness First Stadium.

"So, we are going to have to watch that, but the midfield lads, I think we have seen, they have got that youthy energy, they have got the ability to do that so hopefully it will come off for us again today.

" It would be nice to go back with a win so the fans can get off at the services and have a good bit of banter and a good laugh after eating all their pies and things. Certainly, there is a real recognition, you saw the way that Greg reacted at the final whistle down at Sheffield Wednesday.

" It has been pretty much the same with all of the away fans and the way that the fans have reacted at home as well. It is a big part of what we want to do and I think they are going to continue, because they can see what we are trying to do.

" A boring draw would be the danger of what we have been talking about all week. Because we are all expecting Bournemouth to play football, we know that Greg doesn't do any of this packing the midfield lark this season, he wants to go out there and win the game himself. If all those pieces come together than what a game it could be. "
