Huddersfield manager Andy Ritchie spoke to the official Terriers website about the big match at the Galpharm Stadium tomorrow, Ritchie commenting :

"It will be a difficult game for us. I know Greg Abbott really well because he worked at Leeds United Academy for me, so we know what to expect. If Carlisle are looking for a new manager then they need look no further than him. I know he's ambitious and forward thinking; he's a great bloke and a big character and he will definitely want to get one over on me! I hope that we can share a glass of wine after the game and that it's him who is crying into his glass!

"They've had a decent start and the upheaval there doesn't seem to have affected them too much because they had a great result against Oldham Athletic last week. I have to say that I was shocked at the departure of Neil McDonald, who I also know well, but I'm sure he will bounce back.

"They have some good players like (Joe) Garner, who is their record signing, and Danny Graham from Middleborough is a good striker. We have a couple of players out, such as Cads (Danny Cadamarteri), Frank (Sinclair) and we are assessing Mirf (David Mirfin) today, but we have the home advantage and are full of confidence at the moment.

"We have had a good start but we are taking it a game at a time and just trying to do the best we can. As long as we got a couple of wins on the board in the first few weeks I'd have been happy and we've already done that; it's just about progressing from here. Obviously we want to win the game and maintain the 100% record."

As mentioned above injured pair Frank Sinclair and Danny Cadamarteri will miss the game with hamstring problems while Danny Schofield remains on compassionate leave after a family bereavement last week. Midfielder David Mirfin has a 50-50 chance of playing in the match as he recovers from knee ligament problems. Versatile defender Tom Clarke should be available though after completing 90 minutes for the reserves at Shrewsbury on Tuesday night to signal his recovery from knee surgery.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Carl Boyeson from Hull, and he will be assisted down the lines by Craig Pawson from Sheffield and Andrew Hutchinson from Great Sutton in Cheshire. Meanwhile the fourth official will be Jason Tyas from Holmfirth in West Yorkshire.
