SkivertonGlovers boss Terry Skiverton spoke to his club's official website and thisissomerset.co.uk ahead of his side's final League One match of the season away to Carlisle tomorrow, Skiverton asking for just one more performance from his players before the summer break :

"It is a tough one for us, people look at the journey and us having to go up there, but Carlisle came down to us four days before a major cup final for them and they put on a very good show and we did well to come out with a victory that night. It is not a terribly good ground for us to go and get results, but we are mindful of that and we need to make sure that we go up there not thinking about the summer and making sure that we put in one more good performance. Can we go one more round? Can we get ourselves to the points tally where we think we should be at? For me it is one more game and it is a chance for us to really end the season on a real good high.

"I was very upset after the Somerset Cup game in the week (1-0 defeat in final at home to Weston-super-Mare), I wanted to win that game and we were poor on the night. So, what I don't want is that happening twice in a week, so it has definitely brought us back down to earth with a bump. Weston-super-Mare were fantastic to be fair, they deserved the win, but for me now I want to make sure that it doesn't end up with a long trip home and no points to speak of.

"We are taking the game very seriously and it is not going to be a game for lots of fringe players where I will be taking a look. I will be picking the team that I think is going to go out and win the game. I am really looking forward to it and we want to round off the week with a positive. Because it has been such a good second half to the season we want to make sure it does not peter out. We will not be thinking of being tired and the journey, it is one more round and it us making sure that we get back for pre-season on the back of an unbeaten run. That would be a major achievement for us and those are the levels of consistency we definitely want to take into next year.

"I would rather be going up there in the position that we are and having the confidence, we want to try to put on another performance like we did in the last home game (4-2 win against Colchester) and we want to play good football. We want to play like that every week next season. I want to play like that in the bigger games where there is something on it, games where there might be something on it or games where we might be fighting for our lives. I want us to play like that every week because that is what separates the top players from the ordinary players and what we are trying to do now is build that momentum for next year.

"That was our first game of pre-season, the next is our second game of pre-season and we want to go into the summer champing at the bit to come back next season. So, those are our aims, our aims are to do it the right way, apart from Andy Williams and Sam Williams we have got a fully fit squad to pick from and people will be fighting for their places. I am not 100% sure whether I am going to go with the same team or not at the moment, but we will do a little bit today and we will go through our meetings today and our pre-game stuff and we will see where we go from there."
